All refrigerators and freezers must be thoroughly cleaned. If there is any food remaining in the refrigerator, the safety of these items must be determined. Any sealed product in the refrigerator that is expired should be discarded. If any open ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food items have been held in the refrigerator for more than the 7 days (or if items have been held in the refrigerator without any expiration date or date-marking), they must be discarded.
