As plans for the “reopening” of the country are here, we all need to be prepared for restaurants to open and operate as safely as possible.  The COVID-19 Reopening Action Plan (“RAP”) is an interactive plan to give you the guidance you’ll need to navigate the numerous changes you’ll encounter for Phase 1 of the “Reopening of America.”

The RAP is intended to help you (the operator) reopen in a manner that will keep your customers and employees safe, assure standard food safety precautions are being taken and incorporate COVID-19 mitigation procedures.  It is also a tool to help the regulatory authority to assure a safe dining experience in their community regardless of the operation (owner-operated fine dining restaurants, large fast-food chains or grocery stores).

The RAP incorporates guidance from the CDC, FDA and industry best practices required to safely reopen a food service establishment.
